Agreed. It was faked and flawed, just like Communism, oppression, and lack of human rights.

I am sure the Nuremberg Rallies (in the 30's) were a real blast, but that ain't the point…

I'd have to second the “Replace the talented girl with the beautiful one” comment. This rather overshadowed all of the work they put into this ceremony. The Olympics are about humanity as a whole.
