Reinvigorate- Stat Tracking Goodness
- Posted by glen on March 13th, 2007
I recently was accepted to Reinvigorate, a new stat tracking program. And I’ve been blown away.
Reinvigorate does exactly what the name implies: it takes something bland like stat tracking and turns it into something beautiful and fun (if you can believe that). It satisfies two of my needs: deep analytics and an intuitive interface. It doesn’t have quite all the bells and whistles that Google Analytics has, but it has everything I’d ever need and more for LifeDev. And it’s dang pretty to boot.
There’s a been a lot of justified hype about mint, and I’d say that Reinvigorate is as good if not better. (Granted, I didn’t give mint too long of a shot, as it’s a And it’s not even out of beta yet! Here’s why I think it’s the coolest thing since sliced bread:
- Dashboard: What I need to know right away. The dashboard gives me a quick look at what my site’s doing in real time.
- Easy breakdown of types of traffic. Reinvigorate doesn’t make me search too hard to find the the data I need. Traffic, Visitor detail, session, site & path, and search & referrer are the main categories of data. You have to dig around Google Analytics a while before you can find simple things like daily unique visitors.
- A beautiful interface. I know mint is pretty, but reinvigorate has one of the most beautiful interfaces I’ve seen in a long time.
There are plenty of other reasons to love reinvigorate, but the bottom line is this: It’s a fairly robust stat program that’s easy to use. It’s still in a closed beta, but can sign up for an invite at their homepage.
