Apparently some studies have shown that information overload… yes overload… can actually be good for you.

Hrm. I’m no expert, but that seems to me like saying that running for 20 hours a day will make you a better runner. Sure, you’ll be in a lot better shape, but that’s until your body gives out on you.
Granted, I do see the benefits of taking in larger amounts of information. Your mind can and will adapt to the information that’s being pushed on it. But it doesn’t have to like it.
I think there’s a fine line between taking in a lot of information and information overload.
