Just remember: The extent that you can and do habitually work from home is the extent that you can be outsourced. Sometimes it’s better to show up with a smile on your face even when you don’t have to and aren’t expected to.

I work from home around 2 days a week, sometimes 4, sometimes none. My commute is about an hour each way – so most weeks that saves me around 4 hours. A bigger benefit for me are the couple of lunches I get to have blogging in the garden instead of at my desk.
