I've been loving it, actually. It took me a week to get things really going, but now I find myself using the todo list, reminders, and sometimes notes. I've always got my Instant Messenger open for friends and Twitter, so it's convenient.

Have I received a productivity boost from it? I'd say maybe a little, but for the most part it just saves some time and effort as everything I need is right there.

Hi,

I currently use IMified for one thing, and it has done it really well: reminders.

I find that I don't have to break my flow when I think of something I need to do. I've set up a shortcut, so all I have to do is open a chat window and type, "/remind take out trash", and then "9pm" and I'm done.

I'll get an IM later that night, or an email or text (however I have it set up). Take care.

Glen, I think you need to spend a little bit more time with it. Give it a chance. While some workflows may not be for everybody, but I love the fact that I can use IMified from my g-mail chat client on my phone anytime anywhere. Mobility is where the true power of IMified lies as web apps don't always work on WAP browsers.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for update. Like I said, the concept is great... I just find it a little hard to get used to. I'm looking forward to the new updates!

IMified is still in its infancy. We just launched the service a few weeks ago and are working on an update that we feel will change the way people think about and use IM. We think the real value is in having one central location for the services you use often that is accessible on your desktop or mobile. We're listening to every suggestion from our users and plan on perfecting IM as a productivity tool. Thanks for the write up.
