GTD For Google

gtd for googleWhile we’re in the thick of grasping Getting Things Done, now would be a good time to show an example of how to use this practical organization skill set to web applications.

One Cranky Coot has a writeup on how he manages an entire GTD system with only Google products. It’s pretty amazing if you think about it. This is how much Google has pervaded our lives.

Personally, I like to center my GTD around 30 Boxes for my personal organization, and Stikkit for my work projects (more on that coming soon).

Still, this is an interesting implementation of GTD, and it fulfills the most important criteria for Getting Things Done: it works best for him. The GTD system is flexible and extend-able, and by no means should everyone use a cookie-cutter system. Make it work for you, and you’ll see the best results.
