Slacking Off At Work Leads To A More Robust Life

Bren over at SlackerManager has some killer rules that every “slacker” should follow. Essentially the rules boil down to this: do your job, and use your free time to develop other areas of life.
But why should we follow said rules? Well, in a nutshell…
There’s more to life than work!
Sure, work puts food on your table, makes the world go round, yada yada yada. But developing a full life is the key here. Work provides you the basics for survival. But you can also use work to explore other things. Thinks like
- Know how to decide.
- Be curious.
- Pursue other pursuits.
- Develop your spiritual life.
- Develop (manage) relationships.
So often we forget that our job doesn’t define our life, or even who we are…
