Stikkit Updates
In the online productivity tools arena, Stikkit has just announced that they’ve added quite a few updates to their interesting service, like a bookmarklet and “peeps” (aka contacts manager). I’ve never personally got into Stikkit much, but after seeing the screencast and perusing the company blog a bit and seeing other stikkiteers’ examples, I think it can be a pretty powerful little tool. Firefox Tabs Hack
If you constantly have a bunch o’ tabs open constantly in Firefox, try out a cocktail of the PermaTab and the FaviconizeTab extension. (I’ve covered the FaviconizeTab extension before.) PermaTab will save tabs as permanent, so they’ll never be shut down. Example uses: Meebo, Gmail, etc. Then, once you’ve got them set, use Faviconize to shrink the browser tab real estate to a fraction of what it was. Pretty nifty, and quite handy for the uber geek. The Procrastinator’s Clock
David Sheah has a new little tool out called The Procrastinator’s Clock for your desktop. It sets your computer’s clock 15 minutes ahead, but ticks away in a completely unpredictable meter, so you don’t know how far ahead you really are. Great for people who are constantly late.
