BloggerDesign.com has started an unofficial monthly backup your blog day. If you’ve ever lost a server, you know how scary of a thing it can be. It seems even scarier today considering it’s Friday the 13th. At least having a monthly backup in your pocket can restore at least a little of your site, and some of your dignity as well.
I’m declaring the 13th of each month as the unofficial blog backup day. Meaning that you should login to your blog software and download a backup of all posts. Also, if you have access to the template files, back those up too.
